Exaltus · Last updated 26 October 2026
Exaltus is an AI posing coach and a private log for contest prep: training, food, bodyweight, measurements, sleep, health readings, bloodwork and progress photos. This page explains what it stores, why, who can see it, and how to delete it.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and a password (stored hashed by our database provider, never readable by us).
- What you log: every entry you add, including training, food, bodyweight, measurements, check-ins, sleep, health readings, lab results, medications and supplements, notes, and anything else you choose to record, with the dates and times you give them.
- Photos and videos you add as progress photos. Photos are resized and their location data removed on your device before they upload.
- Your profile and settings: the answers you give at setup (such as age, sex, height, weight, activity, training experience and goals), your targets, the sections you picked and your contest-prep dates.
- Your plan: your free-trial dates, your subscription plan, and counts of the AI reviews and estimates you’ve used, to apply your plan’s limits.
- Presets you save for quick logging, and meal photos you choose to save with a food entry.
- Posing reviews: your federation and division, the pose photos you choose to have reviewed, and the reviews you get back.
- Lab PDFs are read on your device. Only the results, lab name, fasting status and order ID are saved, not the PDF or the name and date of birth on it.
We collect this only to show your log back to you. There are no ads, no analytics or tracking tools, no data brokers, and nothing is sold.
Where it’s kept and who can see it
Your log is stored with Supabase, our database and file-storage provider. Database rules allow each account to read and change only its own entries and files. No other user can see your log.
The Exaltation, the monthly challenge (optional)
If you enter a monthly challenge, the display name and the two photos you submit are visible to other signed-in Exaltus members, so they can vote. Nothing else from your log is shown. Your vote is private; only totals are shown after voting closes. Reports and blocks are visible only to you and to us. Delete your account to remove your entries and photos. See the official rules.
Other services the app loads
To show the app, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from jsDelivr and cdnjs. Like any website, those services receive your IP address and browser details when the files load. They never receive anything from your log.
AI target suggestions (optional)
If you turn on AI target suggestions in Settings, and only then, the app sends your age, sex, height, weight, activity level, training days and years, and goal to Anthropic, our AI provider, to suggest starting targets. Nothing else from your log is sent: no email address, entries, lab results, photos or notes. Anthropic processes the request under its commercial terms, which do not allow it to train its models on this data. You can turn it off in Settings at any time.
AI posing reviews (optional)
When you allow posing reviews and then ask for one, the app sends that one photo, with your federation, division and the pose name, to Anthropic, our AI provider, which writes the review. Nothing else from your log is sent, and no photo is sent unless you pick it for a review. Anthropic processes the photo to answer the request and, under its commercial terms, doesn’t use it to train its models. The photo stays in your private storage and the review is saved to your account; only you can see them. Delete a review in the app to remove it and its photo. You can turn posing reviews off in Settings at any time. We keep a count of how many reviews you’ve had each month, to apply your plan’s monthly limit.
AI meal estimates (optional)
When you allow meal estimates and then take a meal photo or describe a dish, the app sends that photo and what you typed to Anthropic to estimate calories, macros and micronutrients. Nothing else from your log is sent. The estimate only fills in the food form; nothing is saved until you save the entry. A meal photo you save is kept privately with that food entry, and deleting the entry deletes the photo; an unsaved photo is deleted when you close the form. Anthropic processes the request to answer it and, under its commercial terms, doesn’t use it to train its models. We keep a count of how many estimates you’ve had each day, to apply your plan’s daily limit. You can turn meal estimates off in Settings.
AI training coach (optional)
When you tick the box to let the AI coach build or adjust your training plan, the app sends your training answers (age, sex, how long and how often you train, your goal, session length, when you train, the kind of work you do and how many hours, how predictable your week is, sleep, stress, equipment, training style, cardio preference, anything that limits you and what you want to grow), your current plan, and, when you ask for an adjustment, a summary of the last two weeks (number of workouts and their names, average check-in energy, average sleep, and your active injuries with their severity and pain) plus the message you write, to Anthropic to suggest changes. Nothing is sent until you tick the box, and you can untick it any time; the built-in adjustments work without it. Your plan itself is kept on your account.
Coach chat (optional)
When you allow AI features and message your coach, the app sends your message, your recent chat with the coach, and your goal, show date, federation and division, daily targets and training plan to Anthropic, our AI provider. To answer, the coach can look up your own entries for training, cardio, posing practice, food, bodyweight, measurements, sleep, check-ins, injuries, progress-photo dates and phases, and your posing reviews; the free-text notes and files on those entries are left out. It never reads your labs, checkups, supplements, notes or email address. Anthropic processes this only to answer you and doesn’t use it to train its models. Your chat is saved in your account so the coach can refer back to it; you can clear it in the Coach section at any time, and it’s deleted with your account.
Health information
Exaltus is a personal record-keeping tool, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. Targets and summaries are general estimates. Check with your doctor before you make medical decisions. Your health information is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never shared except as described above.
Keeping and deleting your data
- Your log is kept for as long as you have an account.
- Export: Settings → Export everything gives you a CSV of every entry.
- Delete: Settings → Delete account permanently deletes your account, every entry, every posing review and every photo and video. Our providers may hold encrypted backups for a short period before they expire.
- Deleting a single entry removes it right away (after the few seconds you have to undo).
Age
Exaltus is for adults 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think a minor has made an account, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too, and significant changes will be shown in the app. Questions or requests: exaltus.app@gmail.com, Adrian Wonhee Cho.
