The Exaltation (Monthly Challenge): Official Rules

1. Sponsor
The challenge is run and paid for by Adrian Wonhee Cho, 330 De Neve Drive, Den B530, Los Angeles, CA 90024 (“we”), the maker of Exaltus.
2. Who can enter
- You must be 18 or older and have an Exaltus account in good standing.
- Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
- Our employees and their households can’t win.
- Entry is free for every Exaltus account, with or without a paid subscription, including accounts whose free trial has ended. Paying for a subscription doesn’t improve your chances of winning.
- One entry per person per month. Extra accounts are disqualified, along with every entry linked to them.
3. Dates
Each challenge runs for one calendar month in US Pacific Time (PST, or PDT during daylight saving time). Entries open at 12:00 am on the 1st and close at 6:00 pm on the last day of the month. Voting runs from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am that night. The app shows the exact times for each month.
4. How to enter
- In Exaltus, open Exaltation and enter with a display name.
- Upload a day-1 photo of yourself holding a handwritten note showing that month’s start code.
- When the final code is revealed (seven days before entries close), upload a final photo holding a note with the final code, in a similar pose and lighting.
Entry is free. Only entries with both photos are in the vote.
5. Photo rules
- Photos must be of you, taken during that month, unedited apart from cropping. No filters, body-shape editing or AI generation.
- Swimwear or gym wear at most: no nudity. Nothing hateful, sexual or showing anyone else without their consent.
- By entering, you let other members view your entry photos inside Exaltus. We won’t use them outside the app without asking you.
6. Judging
The winner is chosen by a vote of that month’s entrants, using one criterion: the most visible improvement in physique between the day-1 and final photos. Each entrant gets one vote, may change it until voting closes, and can’t vote for their own entry. The entry with the most votes wins. A tie goes to whichever tied entry was submitted first.
We may disqualify entries that break these rules, including photos that appear to be old, edited or someone else’s, and votes from accounts made to influence the result. Members can report entries in the app; entries with three reports are hidden while we review them.
7. Prize
Each month’s prize is a giveaway paid for by us: one winner receives the prize shown in the app for that month. We’ll contact the winner through their account email within 7 days and pay within 14 days of their reply, after confirming eligibility and identity. A winner who doesn’t reply within 14 days forfeits the prize, and it goes to the next-highest eligible entry. Prizes can’t be transferred. Taxes are the winner’s responsibility; winners of $600 or more in a year must give us a completed tax form (W-9) before payment.
8. Odds and general terms
The outcome depends on entrants’ votes against the judging criterion above, not chance. By entering you agree to these rules and to our decisions, which are final. We may cancel or change a challenge if fraud, technical problems or anything else beyond our control affects it fairly running. Your data is handled as described in our privacy policy.
